Tax, Estate, and financial strategy working together, so your business is stronger today and ready for what comes next

CFP® | Fee-Only | Fiduciary | Serving Clients Nationwide

You built the business. Now build the plan behind it.

One coordinated plan, with your CPA, attorney, and financial planner working together, so you can focus on running your business.

Simplify — One plan and one point of contact instead of separate advisors who never talk to each other.

Prepare — A clear plan for your business and family if something unexpected happens.

Keep More — Tax strategy built in year-round, not scrambled together at filing time.

Secure — Confidence that what you've built is protected and ready for succession.

My Background

I started in financial services in 1992. After five years in the industry, I spent two decades in the business world before returning to financial planning in 2018 — because it's where I could make the biggest impact helping small businesses. I founded Randall Financial in 2023 bringing my expertise and team of advisors to match up with my passion for helping business owners.

That path gave me something most advisors don't have: real experience outside the financial industry. I understand how businesses work, what keeps owners up at night, and what happens to a business — and a family — when planning gets neglected. When clients come to me with business concerns that include financial, tax, or estate complications, I'm drawing on the experience of a team of advisors.

I'm a Certified Financial Planner®, Fiduciary, and fee-only advisor based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I've called New Mexico home for nearly 30 years and work with clients across the country.

How I do business

Small by design.

You work directly with me, not a junior associate or a call center.

Your team, coordinated.

Business owners usually have a CPA, an attorney, and a financial advisor, and they rarely talk to each other. I bring them together. I work alongside your existing professionals, or introduce you to trusted ones if you need them, so your tax, estate, and financial decisions support the same plan. You get a team working together without having to manage it yourself.

Ongoing, not one-time.

We meet when decisions need to be made and review your plan at least twice a year. In between, I keep your advisors informed and your plan current.

Independent custody. Your assets are held at Charles Schwab, an independent custodian not affiliated with Randall Financial. Your money stays in your name, and I manage it on your behalf.

Fee-only. You pay me directly. I earn no commissions and sell no products, so my advice is based only on what's right for you.

One coordinated plan, from strategy to execution.

Financial Planning

A clear plan for your business and your life.

-Retirement: When you can step away, and how your business fits in.

-Protection: a contingency plan for the unexpected.

-Cash Flow: Making money work for both your business and your household.

Advisory Team Coordination

Your Advisors, working as one team.

Bring the CPA and attorney, and insurance professional you already trust, or I'll introduce you to experienced specialists I've worked with. Either way, I coordinate so every tax, legal and financial decision supports the same plan.

Implementation

Most financial plans never leave the binder.

Yours will. I work directly with your CPA, attorney, and other advisors to carry out each part of the plan, track every action item, and follow up until everything is done.

Who I work with

Established business owners who have built something worth protecting.

My clients own businesses with $1 million to $25 million in revenue and 1 to 25 employees. They're past the startup phase, either growing a proven company or preparing for what comes next.

You're likely a good fit if you want to:

  • Start or improve a retirement plan for yourself and your employees

  • Reduce taxes through planning coordinated with your CPA

  • Protect your business, your family, and your income

  • Increase what your business is worth

  • Take money out of the business and turn it into personal wealth

  • Plan your succession or exit

  • Get your CPA, attorney, and other advisors working together

I don't work with startups. My work is built for owners whose businesses are established and whose decisions now carry real consequences.

Working together

1. A free first conversation
We start with a no-cost consultation to talk about your business, your goals, and what's keeping you up at night. By the end, we'll both know whether I'm the right fit and what the work should cover.

2. A clear scope and a fixed price
Before any work begins, you'll get a written agreement that spells out exactly what I'll do and what it costs. No surprises, and no fees tied to products.

3. Getting the full picture
We'll hold fact-finding meetings to understand your business, your personal finances, and how they connect. With your permission, some of these will include your CPA, attorney, or other advisors, so nothing important falls through the cracks.

4. Aligning your advisors
I'll meet with each of your advisors individually to understand their recommendations and work out the best path forward. When their advice conflicts, I'll sort it out so you aren't stuck refereeing.

5. Seeing it through
I coordinate who does what and when, track every open item, and follow up until the agreed scope is complete.

Your CPA, attorney, and other professionals bill you directly for their work. Their fees are separate from Randall Financial's, and I don't receive any part of them.

How I'm paid

I'm a fee-only advisor. My clients pay me directly. I don't earn commissions or sell products, so my recommendations aren't tied to anything I'm paid to offer.

Ongoing planning
A one-time fee of up to $4,000 to build your plan, then a monthly fee of up to $2,000 depending on complexity. This covers your business and personal planning, coordination with your CPA and attorney, help putting the plan into action, quarterly check-ins, and an annual review. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.

Investment management
1.10% per year on the first $2 million and 0.55% on assets above that, billed quarterly.

Company retirement plans
0.50% per year on the first $2 million of plan assets and 0.35% from $2 million to $5 million. Above that, the fee is negotiable. Record keeper and administrator fees are separate.

One-time projects

A fixed fee of $500 to $12,000, or $250 per hour, for specific questions like an exit analysis or a retirement plan review.

Your exact fee is agreed in writing before any work begins. Full details are in my Form ADV Part 2A.
